High Speed Design
Electronics is getting faster. More often we get to handle undesired behaviour of needed connections between several components. Besides reflections that have impact on waveforms, we also see an increase in crosstalk, which disturb other connections.
The way you can handle this problems, designing products which the right characteristics, without disturbing yourselve or your neighbours, will be covered in the High Speed Interconnection Design Training.
This two day tool independant training will cover the basics of EMC and High Speed PCB design principles. Both topics will be a mix of theory and practical demonstrations and hands-on experiments.
The first day, the mechanism of disturbances is discussed as well as the measures that a designer can take to build a working system. The second day will cover how digital circuits can be implemented on printed circuit boards. This will introduce the student into transmission line technique.
